11m2 triple bordered antique ceramic floor c.1912 (CE134)

A late art nouveau Belgian triple border ceramic floor dated c.1912 in grey and royal blue framed by a same size border tile on a cream fond with a double half size border of an ornate ochre motif on a bordering on black dark brown.

The tile design and detail is unmistakingly art nouveau and the 14.2cm tiles are in very good condition; having cleaned beautifully the colours are vibrant and crisp.

The floors has been reclaimed from the hallway of a house in Gembloux, Belgium and give or take one or two tiles there are 350 field tiles, 100 large borders with their 4 corners and 200 small borders with their contingent of 8 small corner pieces.
