6m2+ French Octave Colozier ceramic tiles 1913 (CE176-2)

SOLD   SOLD   SOLD   A funky 6m2+ / 65 sq ft of antique French 15.5cm sq ceramic tiles manufactured by Octave Colozier in 1913.

Despite being almost 100 years old we think the tiles have a very modern feel and their aubergine, light grey and electric blue palette is certainly contemporary. The geometric themed square and star styling could work particulalry well with Mid-century modern styles or Industrial loft settings.

The floor is in good condition and has cleaned well, some tiles displaying edge nibbles and small groutable chips but this is a heavy tile with a good slip. The floor arrives ready to relay, it doesn't require sealing and a good regular washing will retain its beauty for years to come. Being ceramic encaustic it can also be used with undefloor heating systems.
