SOLD SOLD SOLD

35m2 of limestone Dalle de Bourgogne recovered from a house in Tournus in southern Burgundy and dated 1791.

The flags are variable in size but in the photographs are typically around 40cm sq (c.16 inches). One flag even has the engraved signature of the mason who produced it.

The flags vary in thickness ranging from c.5cm to 10cm thick (2 to 4 inches)and to state the obvious, the floor is very heavy, which will be a consideration in any transportation.

A stunning, traditionally French floor with a beautiful 200 yr plus patina that would add charm and warmth to a barn conversion or maison maitre.
