3m2 antique Boch Freres moorish themed tiles with borders c.1860

3m2 of antique Boch Freres ceramic encaustic tiles of a moorish theme, manufactured by hand c.1860, 17.5cm sq and c.2cm thick. Following a professional clean the colours have been restored magnificently and the relief of each of the tiles design can be felt to the touch. The tiles come with an antique ceramic 17cm sq Boch Freres border tile of the same palette in a mid grey, mustard and burned red. A perfect ornate small floor for an entrance hall, porch, toilet or bathroom or as a carpet style feature in a larger room. Alternatively, the tiles can be fixed to a wall in a chimney inglenook, as a splashback for a sink or bath or within a shower. Being ceramic encaustic the tiles can also be laid outside on a patio or path.
