Octagonal ceramic floor tiles with inserts

An unusual antique ceramic French floor from the 1920’s comprised of two 15cm wide, 14cm high octagonal star themed tiles, one in grey, one in cream with 5cm sq / 2 inch sq burgundy ceramic tile inserts. The floor is bordered by an ornate geometric tile in royal blue with mustard piping. All four corner pieces for the 92 large borders, totalling 13 linear metres / 43+ ft are present.

The floor is in good condition, as the high resolution photographs show. There are the occasional small chips and nibbles expected of a floor of this age but it has cleaned beautifully and the colours are crisp.
