A unique French antique tile path in a south London home

Traditionally, period homes in UK have used Vicorian or Edwardian tiles for their garden paths but our client, in this instance, preferred an antique turn of the century French ceramic and we think the reasons why are clear to see.

Indeed such was the appeal of this floor that we barely had time to lift and professionally clean it before it sold and we could have sold it several times!

Now, its fluid floral themed design, complete with its original same size and half size border tiles, graces the garden pathway of this fine south London period property.

16cm square tiles in a cool palette or mushrooms and greys.

Being a highly fired ceramic it will be impervious to sub zero winter and high summer temperatures as well as delivering a unique, beautiful and practical aesthetic.
