Antique French carreaux de ciments grace a Dublin, Ireland renovation

This central Dublin period home has been totally renovated with impeccable taste.

Large, 20cm sq charcoal and beige damier tiles in the kitchen add geometry and symmetry to the room, marrying a country kitchen feel to clean lines and a modern minimalism.

In the bathroom the 23cm grey and off-white hexagons, dating from the latter part of the 19th century, are pure and understated, allowing the quality modern and antique fixtures and fittings the centre stage they deserve. The excellent choice of Farrow and Ball colours in both rooms delivers an exact tonal complement to the floors.
