Dove grey antique ceramic French tiles

16 antique French ceramic encaustic tiles in dove grey and charcoal.

The tiles were produced in the early twentieth century by the heritage French tile house of Manufacture de Carrelages Mosaiques Sand & Cie a Feignies. A scan in our possession from their catalogue of 1909 displaying the tiles is shown in the photo gallery.

15.5cm sq / 15mm thick.

Dimensions shown of 4 x 4 tiles is 62cm x 62cm (0.38m2).

If laid as singles in a line the linear length would be 248cm / 97.5 inches.

Perfect and practical as a splashback behind cooker, sink, bath or as a centralised feature complimenting a modern tile or antique parquet.
