Small quantity of Villeroy and Boch Faience wall tiles - early 20th century

A rare and beautiful find, reclaimed from the walls of a demeure close to Namur in Belgium and now fully restored and ready to relay.

Having sold the majority of the 14m2 reclaimed tiles there remains a small surface, some 1m2+ / 11 sq ft., of these glazed faience wall tiles dating from the late 19th / early 20th century.

The tiles were manufactured by Villeroy and Boch Septfontaines Luxembourg.

14cm square and 10mm thick, ideal as a splashback, kitchen counter run, in an ingle-nook etc.

c.36 field tiles and 25 border tiles plus some additional tiles with small groutable chips.

NOTE:-

It is difficult to photograph glazed tiles as they are reflective. What may appear to be staining on the tiles, as in photos 5 & 6 in the gallery, are in fact a reflection of the photographer.
